Shea butter
Pressed from the nuts of the African shea tree and used on skin for generations. Rich in natural fatty acids that soften skin and help lock in moisture.
Oat kernel extract & oil
Oat has been the go-to for dry, itchy-feeling skin since grandma's oatmeal baths. We use both the extract and the oil, so skin feels calm and comfortable.
Organic aloe
Certified-organic aloe leaf juice, the same cooling plant you'd snap off the windowsill. It adds light hydration so the butter sinks in instead of sitting on top.
Organic argan oil
Pressed from the kernels of the Moroccan argan tree. Silky and rich in vitamin E, it leaves skin soft, never greasy.
Organic calendula & chamomile
Two garden flowers, both certified organic, long used in baby care for their gentle, calming feel on delicate skin.
What we leave out
No mineral oil or petroleum jelly
We skip mineral oil and petroleum jelly, using only rich plant butters and oils like shea, coconut and olive.
No parabens or phthalates
We never use harsh parabens or phthalates, in this product or any of ours. It's a promise across our whole line.
No silicones or dyes
Always free of silicones and dyes. Its creamy color and silky feel come from shea and plant oils alone.
No PEGs
We leave out PEGs, the synthetic thickeners in many lotions, and still whip it into a light, fluffy butter.
No animal ingredients
Free of animal ingredients like lanolin and beeswax. Rich plant butters and oils do all the moisturizing.

How to refill
Remove
Once your Body Butter is finished, gently lift the empty insert out of the jar and recycle it according to your local guidelines.
Peel
Peel the protective seal back from your new refill.
Replace
Slide the fresh insert into your original Mavey Jaymes jar and put the lid back on.

This stuff is incredible! It's the only lotion I can put on that has a lovely subtle scent that doesn't cause me to react. I'm very sensitive with my skin and smells and this one is just perfect. I usually use cetaphil on my body but this keeps me just if not more hydrated with my dry skin!

My baby suffered from eczema. The hospital prescribed oil-based ointments and steroid creams, but while they provided temporary relief, the condition worsened afterward. As a first-time mom, I relied on the hospital, but that was an uninformed choice. Afterward, I tried everything to restore my baby's skin—Aveeno, Cetaphil, Mustela, Atopalm, Aquaphor, Vaseline, and more—but nothing worked. Then, I happened to see an Instagram ad for this product. I trusted it because the dad made it himself for his child. The product definitely worked, and my baby is gradually getting better.
